FED began as a Melbourne pop-up– a simple idea among friends to bring people together over great food in an unpretentious setting. We’re a group of young Balinese locals who love the energy of Melbourne’s low-key wine bars, where hospitality is world-class but nobody takes themselves too seriously. When we looked for where to eat in Seminyak after we moved back, we realized we wanted to bring that exact vibe home. We wanted a spot where the kitchen is serious but the atmosphere isn’t.

Returning to Bali in 2020 wasn’t a pause for us; it was a pivot. We kept FED alive by hosting pop-ups during the pandemic. Those small gatherings reminded us why we started: good food and good company. Today, our seasonal menus are an evolution of that history. We find new ways to play with ingredients found right here in Bali—it is our own definition of where to eat in Seminyak.
